Over the years, the number of visitors to Coiltech has grown steadily and regularly, as has the proportion of international participants.
The main visiting nations from outside Italy are Germany, France, Slovenia, Spain, United Kingdom, Austria, Switzerland, Turkey, Czech Republic, Croatia.
At the 2022 edition in Pordenone, the over 3500 electrical machines producers met 384 exhibitors in 297 stands. The fair was highly appreciated both for its excellent organisation and in terms of the quality of the conferences and business meetings.
It is relevant to note that the 2022 edition, after the pandemic period that nevertheless achieved very good numbers, exceeded the results reached in 2019: as many as 3,540 visitors from 48 nations, from all continents, visited the fair. Among the visitors, 37% of visitors came from outside Italy, over 23% from DACH countries (Germany, Austria and Switzerland), and almost 15% from non-European countries (the main ones: U.S.A., Saudi Arabia, and Arab Emirates).

The profile of Coiltech visitors is technical and highly professional
- Over 55% of the visitors fill a technical role within their company and have a decisive role in decision making on sourcing and purchasing.
- About 30% of Coiltech visitors are either a shareholder, the owner or a member of the company's top management.
Coiltech's audience is therefore highly involved in the decision making of sourcing of material and equipment for the production of their companies.
Coiltech's focus on the production of electrical machines and its closely related sectors is accentuated by the visiting companies' main activity.
Primary industries and their activities
For every company that visits Coiltech, the primary objective is to search for new products and solutions and widen their business contacts portfolio.
- 76% of Coiltech visitors come primarily from companies that produce motors and transformers.
- The figure for "exhibitors' competitors" (19%) is also linked to the exhibition's growth; most of them visiting Coiltech purchase their stand for the next edition.

More than 40% are mainly interested in solutions in motors, generators, insulation materials, and technologies.
There is a good distribution of interest in solutions related to electrical steel; production of copper and aluminum wires, equipment needed for testing.

Data on turnover and number of employees of companies visiting Coiltech show that the exhibition attracts more and more visitors from companies of all sizes. The number of multinational companies is growing.

Visitor data certification and UFI approval
Only visitors who have truly entered the exhibition are considered in our published figures. Exhibitors' staff is excluded from the calculation (Ask the organizers of other exhibitions about their method to count the number of visitors).
The data concerning the geographical origin are based on the information provided by visitors in the online-registration form of Coiltech.
The information about the duration of the visit is based on the electronic reading of the bar codes at the entrance and at exit.
Coiltech is the only Coil Winding exhibition that has the veracity and accuracy of visitor data certified by an independent company, ISFCERT.
When you want to exhibit at a trade show, ask the organizer for the certified visitor data. It's the only way you can be sure of the worth of your purchase.
Since November 2016, Coiltech is also the only Coil & Winding exhibition to have obtained the seal of "UFI-approved event" from the Board of UFI (Union des Foires Internationales).
To become a "UFI-approved event", the organizer is required to have the data of the show certified by an independent third-party auditor and commit to using this data exclusively for all communications; this is a further point to help ensure the accuracy of information regarding Coiltech visitors and exhibitors.
